May Is Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health is just as important as physical health—and it's okay to talk about it. This month, we’re joining the national movement to raise awareness, break the stigma, and support one another on the journey to mental wellness.

Whether you're managing stress, living with a mental health condition, or supporting a loved one, you're not alone. Let’s take time this May to check in—with ourselves and each other. Let NHP help you find a behavioral health provider by visiting our website at https://www.northeasthealthpartners.org/members/find-a-provider/

Let's Talk eConsult

Accessing specialty care can be tough—especially in rural or underserved areas. That’s where Colorado’s Medicaid eConsult Program comes in. This free service, supported by the Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF), lets providers quickly connect with specialists, ensuring more Coloradans get the care they need, when they need it.

Cari Ladd

Cari has spent the past 11 years living in Colorado. Although she moved here from New York City, she grew up in Albuquerque, NM, so the Southwest is home. She has spent the majority of her career working in Community Mental Health Centers providing direct services to populations across the lifespan, ranging from residential, to outpatient, to crisis services. Outside of work, Cari loves spending time with her husband, 7-year-old son, and their dog doing anything active. And she'll never say no to a great cup of coffee.

Fun Fact: Cari can clap with one hand. She taught herself as a kid and it remains a crowd pleaser!
