212 - The Year of One Degree

The year 2024 has begun and believe it or not we are already 1/12 of the way through it. And while the year has just begun, the Northeast Leadership Forum Board of Directors has been focused on the year since November. This year’s Board will be using the theme from the book “212 – The Extra Degree”. Our efforts to build on what has been done before, by finding ways to improve at least one degree on everything. We are appreciative of all that NLF Chair Eli Mercer did in 2023 and want to thank him for his efforts to move our organization forward. We also can’t start the year without also thanking Randy Clinton. Randy has served on the board for several years, working on committees and events, including chairing the past Awards Events. 2023 was Randy’s last year on the Board, and he will be missed. The good news is that he is still in the area, and even with traveling we know he will answer our calls for guidance!

Moving on to 2024, we are excited to have some new board members including Garin Giacomarro, City of Grapevine and Andrie Krahl with Atmos. We also thank all of those others who have volunteered to serve for 2024:

This year’s NLF Awards Luncheon is being chaired by Chelsea Rose. She and her committee are teaming up with the focus that in your family life, in your professional life, and then, your community work, the true wins come from working as a team. This year for the annual awards banquet, we want to celebrate that teamwork!
