“Go to church together and get God’s message into your ears, into your life, into your relationships. And the Spirit who created you and recreates you into the best version of yourself, that self that God has in mind for you, will work in your relationship and make it into one that is life-giving. But married or single, divorced or twice-divorced, wid-owed, brokenhearted, or thriving, we all live in the echo of Easter: Christ is risen. Indeed. Alleluia. We walk in the power of Pentecost. Alleluia.” Rev. Dr. John Nunes, guest speaker on “The Lutheran Hour”

Courses to dive deeper into the Bible

The courses offered below are taught by Bible scholar Pastor Alec Fisher

Greek I

Have you ever wanted to read the New Testament in its original language? Now's your chance! Beginning with the Greek alphabet, this course introduces the basics of Greek grammar and vocabulary. After successful completion of this course (Greek I) and the spring course (Greek II), students will be prepared to read most of the New Testament in Greek! (More Info.)

OT Survey

Have you ever wondered if there was more to the Old Testament? Why did things happen the way they did? Who were the Israelites and how did they fit within the world around them? This course focuses on the cultural and historical settings, content, and themes of each Old Testament book. Join us as we take a look at the Old Testament in its original world and how it all points to Christ! (More Info.)
