I would be remiss if I did not dedicate a small portion of my letter to Kim Sugg, Senior Operations Manager, who is leaving Mudsock Youth Athletics at the end of this month after 12 years as a team member and even more as a volunteer to the leagues. Suzanne Spellman - Soccer
We're proud to recognize Suzanne Spellman with Mudsock Youth Soccer as our Dick's Sporting Goods August Volunteer of the Month! Suzanne embodies what it means to go above and beyond for our players and families. Even though her son isn’t playing this season, she still raised her hand to coach - simply because she wanted to continue supporting the kids she’s guided for years. Thank you, Suzanne, for being a positive, consistent presence for our athletes. You make a difference.

Adam Hatch - Volleyball
Please join us in congratulating Adam Hatch with Mudsock Youth Volleyball as our Dick’s Sporting Goods September Volunteer of the Month! Adam’s impact goes far beyond coaching. Every Saturday, he arrives at the gym by 8:00 a.m. to make sure our high school referee crew is organized, covered, and ready to go. He also steps in to fill referee spots whenever needed, ensuring games run smoothly and families enjoy a seamless experience. What sets Adam apart is his selflessness, reliability, and dedication. His willingness to go above and beyond embodies the very best of volunteerism.
