Proper hydration and nutrition are important for all athletes, but especially youth athletes. Youth athletes are not only putting extra stress on their bodies, but they are at a greater risk of injury than fully developed athletes. Listen to why making smart food choices can give your athlete energy to improve their athletic ability, maintain their bodyweight, and protect and repair their bones and muscles in case they are injured. Jamison Vance - Soccer, Boys & Girls Basketball, Baseball
We are so appreciative of our December Dick's Sporting Goods Volunteer of the Month, Jamison Vance. His impact echoes through many of our leagues, serving as a coach for basketball and soccer this past year, a commissioner, baseball board secretary and scheduling guru. We think he is one in a million.
Jaime Jones - Girls Basketball
Our January Dick's Sporting Goods Volunteer of the month, Jaime, is a slam dunk. Serving as the girls basketball HSE travel commissioner during this very unique season, she goes above and beyond to support the needs of the entire league. Thank you for being a role model. We love our strong female volunteers.
