AROUND THE HORN

National Volunteer Week:
April 19th - 26th is one of our favorite times of the year, National Volunteer Week. Our volunteers play a critical role in our success and we are fortunate to have members of our community who pour their time and talent into their league and players. We are only as strong as our volunteers, and league presidents make up our foundation. While we couldn't physically give fist bumps, we are more connected than ever in our virtual worlds. Check out highlights from our campaign this week.

WHAT WE'RE READING
A Note from Tom Farrey - The Aspen Institute Project Play

Tim Burkholder - Girls Lacrosse
Tim is the league’s scheduling ninja and ensures everything runs smoothly. He also serves as an active board member and dedicated coach. Girls Lacrosse thinks he’s pretty special and so do we. Thanks for the countless hours of prep work you've done, Tim! We look forward to lacrosse in Fishers as soon as possible.
Marlyn Guss - Girls Softball
Marlyn serves as the Facilities Director and has worked closely with the City to get Olio Fields in GREAT condition for the upcoming softball season. Marlyn has spent his spring months doing all the behind the scenes work like field equipment maintenance and ordering of supplies to ensure we are set for the season. We appreciate you, Marlyn.
