What Kids Wish You Said
During Their Game

A Note From The Executive Director
Today, all of our sports are underway, and we can officially say that spring sports season has begun. While soccer, track and baseball are practicing for a bit longer, softball, rugby and lacrosse are already competing across the city, and our travel programs have been playing games for a couple weeks now. It feels so strange to think we haven't had spring sports in two years. There is just something that feels right about seeing our community out on the fields again.

Shawn Rosenberg - Boys Basketball
We'd like to give a big elbow bump to Shawn Rosenberg, our February Dick's Sporting Goods Volunteer of the Month, who embraced his new role as coach for Mudsock Rec Plus Boys Basketball. He builds confidence in his players and motivates them to have fun with a winning attitude.
Marlyn Guss - Softball
Our March Dick's Sporting Goods Volunteer of the Month's efforts have tremendously impacted the softball experience for thousands of players. Serving as the former facilities director, he worked tirelessly in partnership with the city on upkeep and improvements at Olio Fields. Well deserved!
