New Resource Webpage Available for Upcoming February CHIPS Solicitation

Last year, President Biden signed into law the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022, which provides the Department of Commerce with $50 billion for a suite of programs to strengthen and revitalize the U.S. position in semiconductor research, development, and manufacturing – while also investing in American workers.

The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development has launched a resource page ahead of the upcoming CHIPS for America program launch that includes details on state programs, data, updates, and more. The page outlines popular California incentive and workforce development programs, such as the California Competes Tax Credit and Research & Development Tax Credit, which future CHIPS applicants and other semiconductor companies may leverage.

Use this webpage to sign-up for GO-Biz’s new Semiconductor Mailing List and to connect with GO-Biz directly regarding the upcoming CHIPS funding.
