Secure $58,500, 000.00 Verdict
Burg Simpson shareholders, Michael Burg, David TeSelle, Holly Kammerer, and Paul Friedman, recently secured one of the largest verdicts in Arizona history in what the press has called "The Body Parts Case". Arizona Attorney magazine declared it the "Top Jury Verdict of 2019."
“The jury sent a loud and clear message to body brokers across the nation that failing to treat donated bodies with dignity and respect, and selling off body parts for profit without full informed consent from the donors will not be tolerated in our society,” said co-lead trial lawyer David K. TeSelle, who along with the Burg Simpson team, tried the four-week-long case in Phoenix, Arizona.

Trial Lawyer Ronda Kelso:
Changing Lives as a Lawyer and a Nurse!
Burg Simpson trial lawyer Ronda Kelso, who also maintains an active nurse’s license, recently spent time in Kenya as a medical volunteer.
Ronda accepted an invitation from a former colleague at Children’s Hospital in Phoenix to join a mission with Covenant Medicine Outreach (CMO) and volunteer in a makeshift rural clinic just a few hours north of Nairobi.
While working with CMO, Ronda and her team treated over 900 patients, bringing medical care, support, and compassion. Of her time in East Africa, Ronda said, “It was a privilege to have experienced such a journey and an honor to have touched the lives of so many.”
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ronda Kelso worked as a certified pediatric nurse. She entered the legal field after working as a nurse consultant to hospitals, physicians, and individual clients and families regarding medical malpractice claims.
Ms. Kelso's experience has proven invaluable while working closely with Burg Simpson clients who have experienced injuries as a result of medical negligence.
