CRC Housing Assistance Programs

Love = Respect

This month, we've been working to empower youth during Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Our educators held several trainings in the community to raise awareness and it was heartening to see volunteers and supporters wearing orange to show their support. If you are interested in scheduling a prevention workshop for your organization or school, please contact us at dvprevention@crcncc.org.

Rotary Clubs Unite to Support CRC

Recently, nine North County Rotary Clubs, led by Dawn Van Siclen and Greg Day, united in support of CRC by hosting the Show the Love Food Donation Drive. They filled our pantry shelves with essential items, particularly pasta and pasta sauce, that our neighbors need. Thank you for turning hunger into hope!

Today, thanks to generous community support, we're now over 90% towards our $10.5 million One Community. One Heart campaign goal! Read more about how this vision will become a reality in our campaign update.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month: Support OMA Art Exhibition

Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA) is seeking underwriting support for the exhibition My Intimate Partner, on view October 5, 2024–March, 2025. This multidisciplinary art exhibition curated and designed by Smadar Samson will feature work by 11 artists examining the intersection between intimacy, power, and control that leads to intimate partner violence. The goal of the exhibition is to broaden the understanding and perception of intimate partner violence in our culture through an artistic transformative prism. Funds will specifically support stipends for the artists and curator.

If you would like to learn more about how you can support this exhibition, please contact Rick Baker, OMA’s Director of Development, at rick@oma-online.org. The museum requests inquiries by April 1 to ensure timely information for interested supporters.
