Hello and Happy Spring!
 
A warm welcome to all of my new subscribers! It's been another busy few weeks here at the studio/gallery....here's the latest news....

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for the grand opening of my new gallery, Debra Joy Groesser Fine Art, and the 20th anniversary celebration of my studio, in downtown Ralston a few weeks ago! Thank you too to everyone who came out for the Ralston Wine Walk last week...it was great to meet you all! If you haven't had a chance to visit yet and you find yourself in the Omaha area, please stop by...we'd love to see you! Regular gallery hours are noon to 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays, with other hours by chance or by appointment. 

In case you missed it, in addition to a plein air workshop in California next month, I've scheduled three more workshops including, by popular demand, a two day workshop for absolute beginners in October! I also offer open studio portrait sessions at my studio once a month on Monday nights...the next one is Monday, May 7th, 6:30 to 8:30pm. More details below. 

I had the honor of being a part of the faculty of the Plein Air Convention in Santa Fe two weeks ago. Over 1,000 artists from all over the world attended. I was a panelist for a presentation called "Be A Profitable Pro" with gallerist Jane Bell Meyer and the organizer of En Plein Air Texas, Barbara Rallo.
