We are pleased to announce that Melanie Seifrit, CPA, MBA has been promoted to A&A Manager!

Melanie joined SCG in September 2016. She is a graduate of Philadelphia University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting (2015) and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (2016). She is a member of the American Institute and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants.



In his announcement to the team, Israel Mercado, CPA said, “She is a great asset to the A&A department here at SCG and is always passionate in training our next generation of auditors and accountants.”

We are pleased to announce that Caitlin Riggs has been promoted to Senior Accountant!

Caitlin is a 2022 graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems. She started her career at SCG as a Summer intern in 2021 and joined the firm full time after graduation. Caitlin works on a variety of tax and audit engagements, and she is currently studying for the CPA Exam. She is a member of the American Institute and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants.



In her announcement to the team, Theresa Jones, CPA said, “Caitlin has been an integral part of our A&A and our Tax teams, and I think we can all agree she’s great to work with.”

We are pleased to announce that Caroline Fox has been promoted to Senior Accountant!

Caroline graduated in 2021 summa cum laude from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She joined SCG’s Tax Department in August 2023. She is currently in the process of earning the Enrolled Agent credential from the IRS. She is a member of the American Institute and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants.



In her announcement to the team, Theresa Jones, CPA said, “Caroline is a great asset to our Tax Department and has proven to be a strong preparer.”

On September 1st, we celebrated Kathie Skinner’s 41st anniversary with SCG!

Kathie is our second longest tenured employee (only Bill Santora has more years)! She is our Office Manager and oversees our Administrative Department and the daily operations of SCG.



We can’t thank Kathie enough for all her hard work and years of dedication to SCG!
