Incorrect Delaware Division of Unemployment 2024 UI Tax Rate Letters

The Delaware Division of Unemployment Insurance (UI) has recently mailed 2024 UI tax rate letters that contained incorrect information. They are working to correct the issue and will mail new letters with the correct rate as quickly as possible. All employers will receive updated letters even if their rate does not change. Updates on this effort will be posted on their website, Department of Labor social media sites, and other communication methods at their disposal to share the message. We are pleased to announce that Michael Marvel has joined our team as a Staff Accountant!

Mike graduated from Wilmington University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a minor in Finance. He started his career at SCG as an intern during the summer of 2022 and followed that up with another internship during the summer of 2023. He will be providing auditing, accounting, and a variety of tax preparation services to SCG’s clients, and he is currently studying for the CPA Exam. Mike is a member of the American Institute and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants.
