Our 20th annual food drive benefiting West End Neighborhood House in Wilmington wrapped up on Tuesday, November 14th. Since 2003, we have donated over 18 TONS of shelf stable food items to West End to help with their Emergency Assistance Food Closet program.
Everyone pitched in to load up the truck. In Heath’s email to the team, he thanked everyone for their enthusiastic participation. Again, with a shorter time period to collect and the increased cost of food, we did an awesome job!! In total this year, we collected 2,746 pounds of food or 1.37 tons of food!
