“Changing the Thanksgiving Story”
| |
|
Rev. Julie Stoneberg
with Dave Cicero, Director of Lifespan Religious Education
As we learned earlier this month, we’re not obliged to continue to view our history in the same old way. There’s an old chestnut (a story) about Thanksgiving that simply isn’t true. Let’s explore how we might tell it right.
This is a multigenerational service and will include ways for all ages to participate. There are no regular RE classes today but the Nursery is open for children 4K and under.

If you missed this discussion, mark your calendar for the next Community Conversation on Dec. 11.

Rev. Julie Stoneberg
To choose to wonder is to choose to interrupt the expected. It requires vulnerability and a bit of courage to release our grip on the known. Yet in that process, wonder might provide the opening we need to transform our experience of the holidays.
Enjoy music by the Kaleidoscope Band!
