Circle Round for Healing:

Honoring Suicide Loss - Follow Up

Wednesday evening we marked one year since Sue Morgan passed away by suicide (July 2) and honored all struggling with forms of depression and anxiety. Many of you who gathered brought stories that feel shameful and we proved last night, that they are common, and we need to stop the stigma associated with different kinds of brain health and wellbeing.

Midwifing Care and Compassion"

The Rev. Denise Cawley

How do we react with love, even when we are surprised, confronted with something new or don’t understand? Life is always changing. Rather than reacting with rejection or hate, we can respond with pastoral support. How do we act as spiritual midwives, holding complex feelings and making space for new ways to be loving? Using film clips displaying controversial topics, and music from the popular British TV show, Call the Midwife, we will strengthen our compassionate caring abilities.
