With the poet Wendell Berry’s “Manifesto: The Mad Farmer Liberation Front” as our text, the story of Jesus as our guide and Earth Day as our context, let’s explore what it might mean to “practice resurrection” in our day and age.

Help pick up garbage around Lincoln Creek at 51st St, Milwaukee

Afterwards, celebrate the success of the cleanup with Rock the Green
at Estabrook Park.
UUCW Food Donations Support Tosa Food Pantry

Items most needed are canned fruits, low salt vegetables, low-fat soups, and low salt protein (e.g. spam, tuna, beef stew, chili).

It is most helpful if the canned items have pull-tops.

Supports America’s Black Holocaust Museum

Exhibits will explore the effect
of slavery on economic, physical, emotional, and cultural health, as well as its residual impact on
current race-related issues .
