"Where We Meet (Real Change Happens)"
UUCW Pledge Drive Service
with Rev. Suzelle Lynch

At UUCW, we often say that every member of our congregation shapes the community we all share. As we bring our gifts and our needs to the church, it changes, and we change too. This on-going process of creation and change is spiritual and practical; it’s the result of our kinship, our relationship as dancers in the same pattern, stars in a constellation, cells within a living being – and it’s worth celebrating!
CHURCH LIFE
Embracing Each Other – Embracing Our Future
Each year we hold a pledge drive to fund UUCW’s budget for the next fiscal year (begins May 1). This year, our pledge goal of $430,000 is well on it’s way to success. Eighty-one households have made their pledges by mail, email, phone call or online using our Realm database – THANK YOU!
If you haven’t pledged yet, go online at onrealm.org/uucw or email UUCW@uucw.org We need you to Embrace UUCW with generous support!
FUN PLEDGE CELEBRATION MARCH 6

RSVP today to take part in our online Embracing Pledge Celebration – Saturday, March 6 beginning at 6:30 pm.
How has your life changed because of the pandemic?

Tell us YOUR story…
Staying COVID-safe has challenged all of us this year. We’re longing to reconnect with our beloved UU Church West community. The Journal of Our UUCW Pandemic Year is here to help.

Share your experiences – answer a question or two – and send us photos of yourself! We’ll gather everyone’s stories in the Journal and share them with our beloved congregation.
Send your pandemic year photo(s) to photo@uucw.org
UUCW Member and Board of Trustees Vice President Lisa Larson shares how the pandemic helps her appreciate a slower-paced lifestyle.
Spreading the Love!

While COVID-19 kept many people from their usual Valentine’s Day celebrations, a group of UUCW volunteers reminded folks that they are loved by their UU community.

UUCW Nominating Committee
Seeks Candidates

Each year at this time the Nominating Committee begins seeking a slate of candidates for the board, nominating committee, and endowment committee, to be installed the following June at the annual business meeting. This is a great opportunity to serve your UU congregation, make new friends, and use your leadership skills.
Here is your chance to SHINE during a Sunday service!

You are invited to make a Chalice Lighting video. All it takes is a candle, a match, and a camera! A script and recording guidelines will be provided. Or, arrangements can be made for someone to record you outdoors. Jen and Hank give it a "thumbs up" as to how easy it is to do.

Interested individuals and families are encouraged to contact Publications Coordinator Kelly Bognar.
The Endowment Committee May Have the Funds You Need

Do you need financial support for a good UUCW cause? The Endowment Fund Committee disperses earnings annually to committees in the congregation. The Committee is now accepting grant request proposals until March 1, 2021. Click below for the application form. If you have any questions, please contact Linda Weitzer. Thank you.
