"Holding Our History of Transformation and Connection" | |
|
The Revs. Suzelle Lynch and Denise Cawley and Dave Cicero
If you've ever wondered why the flaming chalice is the symbol for Unitarian Universalism, and what it means, this is the service for you. As a symbol and a worship ritual, the chalice is powerful. It is connected to our history and practices of transformation and connection. Today's service also features our beautiful Child Dedication Service for the children of UUCW Members.

Let Us Give Thanks
Let us give thanks for the food that we share,
Let us give thanks for people who care;
Food fills our body and love makes us whole,
Let us give thanks deep down in our soul.

The Rev. Denise Cawley
Holidays, family get-togethers, and celebrations all involve food. It is easy to come across happy food memories and to plan for joyous celebrations with food. Yet, for many, food loses its joy due to stress, comments, and other anxieties. Today, we explore food as a source of joy, ritual, and an opportunity for mindful presence. Join us in nourishing one another.
