"What’s Bothering You?
Irritation Sparks Imagination"
The Rev. Suzelle Lynch

According to the experts, imagination feeds off the aspirations and aggravations that propel us to seek a better reality, and every crisis or challenge contains the seeds of opportunity. In keeping with January’s Soul Matters theme “A People of Imagination,” let’s take what’s bugging us and put it to good use.
CHURCH LIFE
Vigil for Peace and Democracy

As events continue to unfold in our nation's capital, it's hard to let go of the feelings of fear, anger, and anxiety raised for so many of us as we watched the rioters level their assault on the U.S. Capitol. On Wednesday, we held an open zoom conversation, and a live-streamed vigil to bring us together, to remember our core values, and to share our caring.
Nominating Committee
Seeks Candidates

Each year at this time the Nominating Committee begins seeking a slate of candidates for the board, nominating committee, and endowment committee, to be installed the following June at the annual business meeting. This is a great opportunity to serve your UU congregation, make new friends, and use your leadership skills.
Family Story Hike at UUCW

The UUCW RE Committee invites you and your family to walk the church grounds on a self-guided “Family Story Hike”! A classic story of winter discovery, The Snowy Day, will be posted along a marked trail – with related activity suggestions – starting Jan. 4. Spend a morning, afternoon, or evening at church, experiencing the wonders of the season.

Questions? Contact Dave Cicero. Send photos of your story adventure to Kelly Bognar.
Here is your chance to SHINE during a Sunday service!

Ted and Greer Jordan will agree that making a Chalice lighting video is easy. They made a wonderful recording for our Christmas Eve service.

You too can make a Chalice Lighting video. All it takes is a candle, a match, and a camera! A script and recording guidelines will be provided. Or, arrangements can be made for someone to record you outdoors.

Interested individuals and families are encouraged to contact Publications Coordinator Kelly Bognar.

"Dismantling White Supremacy Culture - Imagine the Possibilities"
Rev. Suzelle Lynch,
with Jen Nicolosi,
Lead Music Director

As a congregation, we’ve made a powerful commitment to dismantling white supremacy culture in our policies and practices. What does that look like? What might it mean for you? On this weekend honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. we’ll imagine the possibilities, explore some ideas, and maybe even debunk some stereotypes.
Come as you are - leave inspired!
