From Pastor Rob:

God is Our Refuge ... We Will Not Fear

On July 7, 2025, hard rains fell and the creeks rose and the streets were flooded. We usually read about events like this. These are things that happen in other places, not here, where we live. This time, though, it was our turn to get hit.

The food that was removed from the Pantry due to the storm needs to be moved back downstairs to the Pantry. We will also bag at least some groceries on Wednesday.

This Thursday, July 17th, 10:00am

We will be receiving fruits and vegetables

This Thursday July 17th, 12:30pm

We will be receiving our TEFAP delivery

This Friday, July 18th, 9:15am

We will be receiving our normal Wegman's delivery. Possible bagging if needed.

This Saturday, July 19th

Normal preparation for and distribution of food.

Any help you may be able to provide for any of these activities is greatly appreciated! We especially need strong muscles to help move the food back downstairs on Wednesday. Use the below link to sign up.

Our next food distribution after this Saturday will be in August on August 2nd at our usual time from 11am-noon.

HELP KEEP IT GOING!

  • Volunteer for one or more of the drive-through food distributions. Many opportunities are available.
  • Donate groceries. We are collecting dry and canned goods. Go to the church website for a more detailed list. Please check the ’sell by’ dates when donating. There is a collection bin outside the church entryway where you can leave your donations.

To volunteer, please use our online Community Sign Up Genius Form. If you have any questions, please contact Candy or Diane.

Are You Missing Your Treasures?

Where did that water bottle go? Where did I put that key? Where is my.....? You name it. It might just be in the church office's lost and found collection.

If you have misplaced any items and think they may be at the church, please stop by and take a look in the church office lost and found! We also have several coats and jackets on our coat rack in the church foyer. All unclaimed items will be either discarded or donated on Tuesday, July 29th.
