On September 28, in the Sunday morning worship service, our church was very kind to express appreciation to me. My 19^th anniversary (Sept 17) as senior pastor was acknowledged, encouraging words were shared, and a gift was given. Thank you. Church family, I appreciate you.

Youth Beach Retreat

Do you love the beach AND serving your church family?

The annual CBFNC Fall Youth Beach Retreat will return to Fort Caswell in Oak Island the weekend of October 24-26, 2025. We currently have twelve, enthusiastic youth who are hoping to attend the retreat. For this to happen, we need drivers. Ideally, we would love to also have a female chaperone, but the critical need is for drivers. Would you prayerful consider if the Lord may be calling you to help in this way? Students will leave at 3pm on Friday, October 24th and they will return on Sunday, October 26th around 3pm. If you do not want to chaperone the entire event, that's okay. The youth will need transportation to and from the retreat center as well as to and from lunch on Saturday. Volunteers who provide transportation to the retreat center are welcome to enjoy the beach on their own for the weekend except for transportation to and from lunch on Saturday. Communion and Potluck

During the worship service on October 12th we will observe communion. A potluck lunch WILL also occur after the morning worship service that day. Please plan to join us!

Food Pantry Updates

Our next Food Distributions in October will be October 4th and 18th at our usual time from 11am-noon.

HELP KEEP IT GOING!

Volunteer for one or more of the drive-through food distributions. Many opportunities are available.
Donate groceries. We are collecting dry and canned goods. Go to the church website for a more detailed list. Please check the ’sell by’ dates when donating. There is a collection bin outside the church entryway where you can leave your donations.
