Daylight Savings Time is scheduled to end this Sunday, November 5th at 2am. Remember to set your clocks back on Saturday night or else we will see you extra early for worship on Sunday!

Next Food Distributions - November 4 & 18 from 11am to 12pm

Our next Food Distributions will be November 4 & 18 at our usual time from 11am to 12pm.


HELP KEEP IT GOING!

  • Volunteer for one or more of the drive-through food distributions. Many opportunities are available.
  • Donate groceries, we are collecting dry and canned goods. Go to the church website for a more detailed list. Please check the ’sell by’ dates when donating. There is a collection shed outside the church entryway where you can leave your donations.

CBF Retreat - January 26-27, 2024 at Camp Agape, Fuquay- Varina

CBF of North Carolina's Spiritual Formation Advisory Team is excited to offer a special retreat opportunity this winter. Although clergy are welcome, this is especially for lay leaders and congregants. "The Art of Savoring: Spiritual Practices for an Abundant Life" retreat will be held January 26-27 at Camp Agape in Fuquay-Varina.


All are invited to get away for a period of spiritual reflection and refreshment. During the retreat, we will spend time thinking about how we might more fully embrace the goodness of God and the gifts of this life, both individually and in small groups.

The retreat will be led by Sarah Blackwell, Derek Hogan and Lydia Hoyle from the CBFNC Spiritual Formation Advisory Team.


Registration is $60, which includes lodging and meals. Single and double rooms available. Each room shares a bathroom with one other room.

Registration ends on Jan. 18 at noon (ET).


This retreat will be a wonderful opportunity to relax and recharge!

Budget Discussion - Wednesday, November 15 - 7pm via Zoom

The church leadership has been preparing the 2024 budget for congregational approval. We will be having a discussion of the proposed budget via Zoom on Nov 15th. All are encouraged to attend. This meeting will give you an opportunity to hear the highlights of the 2024 church budget and to ask questions. This will be the only planned discussion of the budget. A Zoom invitation will be sent out via email the week of the meeting. Final approval of the budget will be voted on at the Annual Meeting on Sunday, December 3.
