Hillside Church supports the Phillips family who serve as missionaries through the organization, Paraclete Mission Group. If you would like more information about this group, the latest summary of ministries and annual report is located on the table at the back of the sanctuary.

Hillside Church is also a member of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF). If you would like more information or the latest news from CBF, the latest issue of their magazine is also located on the table in the back of the sanctuary.

Elder Nominations

Annual elder nominations and elections occur in May. Elders serve for one year beginning June 1st of each year. According to the Hillside Constitution, an Elder must be at least 21 years of age at the time they begin serving and be a church member at least one year prior to the time of nomination. If you are a member of Hillside Church, please click the link below to review members who are eligible and chose up to 2 candidates. Paper copies of the elder nomination form will also be available on the table at the back of the sanctuary. Please return the completed paper form to the church office. Whether using a paper form or the online form, please complete and submit by May 17, 2025.

Update on Mortgage

Thank you to each of you for prayerfully considering and making a donation to pay down the church's mortgage. Thanks to your generosity we have received approximately $50,000 which brings our mortgage down to less than $300,000. If you haven't already, would you prayerfully consider making a donation over and above your regular offering, to pay down the principal on our mortgage? Consider taking the amount you spend daily on Starbucks or McDonalds and donate that to the mortgage. The amount might seem small, but we're asking you to give what you can. God will multiply our gifts. Paying down our mortgage debt ($2400/month) or even paying it off will free up our money for hiring a part time youth pastor, missions opportunities, or making capital improvements. Our mortgage rate and payment amount will increase in June. Donors who give donations of $100 or more will be eligible to receive a primitive, hand-crafted birdhouse. Please designate your contributions as "Mortgage". Thank you again for your generosity!

Food Pantry Updates

Our next Food Distribution in May will be May 17th at our usual time from 11am-noon

HELP KEEP IT GOING!

Volunteer for one or more of the drive-through food distributions. Many opportunities are available.
Donate groceries. We are collecting dry and canned goods. Go to the church website for a more detailed list. Please check the ’sell by’ dates when donating. There is a collection bin outside the church entryway where you can leave your donations.
