Faithful Waiting by Pastor Rob

I began this year with an invitation to you, my reader. I wrote,

I encourage you, in 2025, to select someone from the Bible who models faith in the way you would like to live it. People will say they want to “grow closer to God in the new year.” That’s too vague. How do you know you’ve accomplished this goal?

Budget Information Meeting

There will be a budget information meeting on Wednesday, November 18, 2025 at 7pm via Zoom.

Celebration of Communion

We will be celebrating Communion on November 23rd and December 7th. There will not be a potluck in November, but the Christmas potluck will be held on December 7th.

Annual Church Meeting

Our annual church meeting will be held on December 7th after the worship service.

Food Pantry Updates

As we count our blessings this Thanksgiving, would you consider blessing a family dealing with food insecurity this holiday season? The Food Pantry is collecting frozen turkey breasts, frozen whole chickens, small hams and small turkeys for our Thanksgiving distribution. You may drop off your donations before the worship services on November 9th or November 16th. You may also drop off donations now through November 20th between 9:30am-1:30pm at the church office. Please kindly call the office prior to drop off.

Next Food Distributions:

November 22nd between 11AM -12PM

December 6th between 11AM -12PM

Workdays

Since the weather is more pleasant, it’s a good time to clean-up our outside spaces. Tasks include tree and shrub trimming, weeding and pruning. No particular skill is necessary, but guidance can be provided. Come and work on your own schedule. Please fill out the following survey to help us gauge your interest and availability. CBF Global Missions

We will continue our Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF) Global Missions focus until November 16, 2025.
