A Few Notes

We were planning to hold a Church Deep Cleaning meet-up on Thursday, but have decided to postpone it until the following Thursday so that everyone who wants to participate in Candy Making with the Women's Guild doesn't have to choose. Go make candy this Thursday at 9 AM in the Parish Center Hall, and then meet us on November 5th at 9 AM to help clean the Church!

Due to the set-up for the Diocesan Family Fest, there will be NO PARKING in the Church parking lot from this coming Wednesday evening to next Monday evening as a result of tents and set-up. Please park at the School and on the street. We do apologize for the inconvenience.

Men...stop procrastinating. It's time to register for the Men's Conference! Deacon Campanell will be sad if St. Joseph the Worker doesn't have the largest contingent this year, as usual. You will love Fr. Pivonka, so register HERE. See flyer below.

We may need a few volunteers to sell apple dumplings at our stand for the Diocesan Family Fest on November 1st, here at St. Joseph the Worker. If you are interested, contact Gina HERE.

The Women's Guild will be making holiday candy to sell at Craftfest, on Thursday at 9 AM in the Parish Center. Come out for a great time while serving the greater good! We look forward to seeing you there. All are welcome.

Youth in grades 8-12 are encouraged to attend our Youth Group meeting on Sunday October 25 from 12-2 PM in room 5/6 in the Parish Center. All are welcome, bring a friend! For more info click HERE.

Pray for Our Parish

Dear God, I believe that you have the ability to convert everyone at St. Joseph the Worker Church and I beg you to perform miracles in our lives that we will come to love you and never want to offend you.

I beg you to let us see our sins and run to the confessional, that the lines will be out the door.

Set the hearts of our priests on fire so that they burn with the desire for the conversion of every soul in the parish.

I implore you to make St. Joseph's a beacon in our diocese, that souls will be drawn by the holiness they find here.

I ask that you blind Satan to every parishioner, that they might have the space to know and love you without temptation.

I offer myself to you completely at whatever the cost.

Amen

Pray for Vocations

God our Father, please send us holy priests and religious, all for the Sacred and Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, all for the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, in union with Saint Joseph.

Amen

Pray for a Culture of Life

Come Holy Spirit and fill the hearts of the faithful with zeal for life, and grant them the courage to defend the unborn, the elderly, and the sick.

Amen
