A Few Notes

We are sending out an early edition of the E-News this week so that details for Friday are fresh in your minds. We don't want you waking up for 6:30 or 8:30 daily Masses that don't exist!

Tomorrow (Friday), there will be no Adoration or Helping Hands due to the legal holiday. There will only be one Mass at 9am, and the Office will be closed. There will be no Confessions on Friday or Saturday morning, so you'll have to save it for 4 PM before the Vigil Mass. This could be a perfect opportunity to strive to, "Be perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48) We can do it!

When is the last time you read the bulletin from Mass? Did you know that not everything from the bulletin is in the E-News? We hope that you take advantage of both of these news sources, as the primary focus of the E-News is only to let you know what's happening in the coming week.

The Food Pantry is still in need of the following items: Jelly, Crackers, Ramen, Sauce and Snacks. In fact, it desperately needs ONLY these 5 things. Please drop your items in the wire basket in the vestibule before Mass or bring them to the Parish Office on weekdays.

One of our Family Promise Co-Coordinators will be stepping down in 2027 after serving for nine years. Thank you to Fran Roposh for all that she has done to see that the homeless families in the program have meals and friendly volunteers to help host. If you are interested in filling this role and helping Ruth Joyce carry on the mission, please contact Fran HERE for more information.

Pray for Our Parish

Dear God, I believe that you have the ability to convert everyone at St. Joseph the Worker Church and I beg you to perform miracles in our lives that we will come to love you and never want to offend you.

I beg you to let us see our sins and run to the confessional, that the lines will be out the door.

Set the hearts of our priests on fire so that they burn with the desire for the conversion of every soul in the parish.

I implore you to make St. Joseph's a beacon in our diocese, that souls will be drawn by the holiness they find here.

I ask that you blind Satan to every parishioner, that they might have the space to know and love you without temptation.

I offer myself to you completely at whatever the cost.

If you are interested in registering with the parish, please contact Gina at media@stjwchurch.org. You must be a registered member for at least three months to be a godparent, Confirmation sponsor, marry, or baptize your child at St. Joseph the Worker. Please register, and remind your adult children to register in a parish near them.

Helping Hands are available for sale Tuesday through Friday, 11 AM-1:00 PM in the Parish Office (not July 3), or before and after every weekend Mass.

Thank you for continuing to support our parish. You may mail offertory envelopes to the Parish Office, drop them in the lock-box hanging to the left of the office entrance, or bring them inside during office hours of 9-4:30 PM.

Adoration Schedule

-Adoration is in the Chapel Monday-Friday (not July 3), 9AM-8PM

-The Rosary is prayed in the Chapel from 9:00 to 9:30 AM after daily Mass and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3 PM when adoration is open.
