Congratulations to our 8th Graders who made their Confirmation yesterday, and thank you for covering them in prayer! May the Holy Spirit continue to guide them in their new role as fully initiated Christians.

This Sunday, we will be celebrating Deacons Coyle, Campanell and Readinger at 12 PM as they reach milestone ordination anniversaries this year. We hope you will join us in the Parish Center Hall after 11 AM Mass. For those of you who will be attending the 7 and 9 AM Masses, there will also be Coffee and Donuts after those Masses.

And now, a message from our Pastor:

Priest Easter Basket

Our Vocations Committee will place a large basket on the altar during the Blessing of the Baskets on Holy Saturday, April 19th, at noon (the bulletin says August 19th--Ignore that!). If you would like to contribute with a blessing of cards, food, gift cards or monetary gifts for our Priests, you can place them there at that time. Thank you for your generosity to our good shepherds!

Divine Mercy Sunday Approaches

The Divine Mercy Novena will begin on Good Friday. Pray along by using this link HERE. Then, join us on Divine Mercy Sunday, when we gather at 2 PM on April 27th with Fr. Eugene Ritz, to gain the graces promised by Jesus to St. Faustina to those who confess their sins and receive the Eucharist on Diving Mercy Sunday. This Feast is "both a comfort and a lifeline for souls."

Pray for Our Parish

Dear God,

I believe that you have the ability to convert everyone at St. Joseph the Worker Church and I beg you to perform miracles in our lives that we will come to love you and never want to offend you.

I beg you to let us see our sins and run to the confessional, that the lines will be out the door.

Set the hearts of our priests on fire so that they burn with the desire for the conversion of every soul in the parish.

I implore you to make St. Joseph's a beacon in our diocese, that souls will be drawn by the holiness they find here.

I ask that you blind Satan to every parishioner, that they might have the space to know and love you without temptation.

I offer myself to you completely at whatever the cost.

Amen

Continue to keep Pope Francis in your prayers!
