Cooks with Collars is a friendly competition for the priests of our Diocese to raise funds for their parishes. You HAVE to check out our entry...it's eggcellent! Monsignor Finelli and Fr. Brelinsky did a great job, and if you vote you will be entered into a chance to win farm fresh eggs! As Monsignor said, "I don't care if we win, I just don't want to be last!" It's very likely we won't have to worry about that. What do you think? Click HERE to watch and please vote!

The bus to the Diocesan National Shrine Pilgrimage on October 7th has been opened up to other parishes. If you are interested, sign up ASAP. Click HERE to reserve your seats.

A Bereavement Gathering will be held September 7th after the 11:00 Mass on Sunday. Join us in the Parish Center rooms 3/4 at 12:15 pm at St. Joseph the Worker. Healing takes time and patience. Through sharing with others your spirits will be comforted and supported.

Fr. Brelinsky will be the celebrant for a Silver Rose Program at 7 PM on Monday in the Church. All are invited to this special tribute in celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the dignity of human life. This program demonstrates the unity between Knights of Columbus in Canada, the United States and Mexico, as the Silver Rose travels throughout the three countries.

Family Faith Formation will kick off the 2025-2026 year with a Prayer Fair. The theme of this year will be prayer, and our season will begin with families whose last names begin with A-L on September 10th, while families M-Z will meet on September 17th. Both groups will be meeting in the Church from 6:00-7:30 PM.

Pray for Our Parish

Dear God,

I believe that you have the ability to convert everyone at St. Joseph the Worker Church and I beg you to perform miracles in our lives that we will come to love you and never want to offend you.

I beg you to let us see our sins and run to the confessional, that the lines will be out the door.

Set the hearts of our priests on fire so that they burn with the desire for the conversion of every soul in the parish.

I implore you to make St. Joseph's a beacon in our diocese, that souls will be drawn by the holiness they find here.

I ask that you blind Satan to every parishioner, that they might have the space to know and love you without temptation.

I offer myself to you completely at whatever the cost.

Amen
