As Catholics, we must have faith in God, who is all-knowing and all-powerful. As we can read in Ephesians 6:10-17, our battle is not with other people, but with evil that has infiltrated the world. This is a spiritual battle against darkness and evil spirits. Only the armor of God can protect us and keep us upright in the face of such evil.

We have the ability to make reparation not just for our own offenses, but for those who offend our Lord unknowingly. To do this, we can pick up our rosaries, pray with our families, read scripture, fast, confess any sins, do penance, and spend time in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. In analyzing ourselves, we must be honest, humble, peaceful, charitable, and faithful to the Word of God. We all have access to the Peace of Christ.

"Whatever God wills, without exception, should be received with the firm persuasion that every cross He wills to send shall prove an endless source of blessing, a treasure whose value one may not appreciate at the moment (Lorenzo Scupoli)." May God's will be done.
