Women's Guild Collection

Craftfest is getting closer (November 15th), and we are currently collecting new, unused gift basket items, as well as quality, name brand pantry items for assembling the baskets. There is a labeled bin in the vestibule for your donations. Perhaps you have some brand new gifts lying around that you will never use...a candle, a kitchen gadget, a bottle of something gourmet. This is your opportunity to donate it to a great cause! Thank you in advance for your contributions. Save the date for our next meeting on October 7th at 6 PM.

St. Joseph's Parish Choir

Saint Joseph's Choir sings at the 11 AM Sunday Mass October through May. The choir sings different styles of music from traditional hymnody, Gregorian chant, classical choral literature to present day. The ensemble utilizes the organ as its primary accompaniment with occasional added instruments. Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 PM in Parish Center room 1. All are welcome. For more information, contact the Director of Music HERE

St. Joseph's Junior Choir

Led by our Director of Music and assisted by Wendy Ohlsen, our Youth Choir gathers on Sunday afternoons (usually 2 weeks prior to singing) following the 11am Sunday Mass in The Parish Center Room 1 to grow in love for sacred music and have fun! The Choir will sing at the 11am Mass four Sundays during the academic year to share what they've learned with the parish. Singers in grades 3-8 are welcome. Rehearsals October 19th, 26th and November 9th immediately after the 11am mass for a half hour. Anyone interested in joining this new group is encouraged to contact our Director of Music HERE.

Last chance! Seats are $25 per person. The bus will board at 5:45 AM at St. Joseph the Worker and leave promptly at 6:00 AM. There will be a brief stop at a rest area on the way home for dinner, the cost of which is not included. We will return around 10 PM. Questions? Contact Gina HERE. Pray for Our Parish

Dear God,

I believe that you have the ability to convert everyone at St. Joseph the Worker Church and I beg you to perform miracles in our lives that we will come to love you and never want to offend you.

I beg you to let us see our sins and run to the confessional, that the lines will be out the door.

Set the hearts of our priests on fire so that they burn with the desire for the conversion of every soul in the parish.

I implore you to make St. Joseph's a beacon in our diocese, that souls will be drawn by the holiness they find here.

I ask that you blind Satan to every parishioner, that they might have the space to know and love you without temptation.

I offer myself to you completely at whatever the cost.

Amen
