For those who can't attend this weekend, books will be available in the rectory office Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm.
May is the Month of Mary. To honor our Blessed Mother, let's recommit to our daily rosary. Learn how to pray the rosary HERE. Consider making the Five Saturdays Devotion if you haven't already. You can get all the details HERE. May our Blessed Mother protect our parish and help us all to persevere in holiness.
Virgin Most Powerful, pray for us!
First Holy Communion
Congratulations and may God bless the 97 communicants who will be receiving Our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist on Saturday, May 1st. Please pray for them!

While Communion is by invitation only, you can watch the 9:30 Mass HERE and the 11:30 Mass HERE.
The Defenders of Life will be offering for purchase gifts of a rose and a blessed Mother's Day Rosary on Mother's Day weekend, May 8-9 after all the Masses. Suggested donation is $7.00. This is our only fundraiser. Your generosity helps fund buses to the March for Life, Mary's Shelter, "Generation Life" speakers in our Diocesan Schools, Pro-Life billboards, etc. Mothers are a gift from God that flower our world with love. God Bless all Mothers for choosing life.
Bishop Schlert has requested that each parish host a weekly Holy Hour to pray for Vocations with the Sacrament of Confession. Our Vocations Committee will host at 8 PM on Thursday evenings. There will be shared prayer at the top of the hour, as well as a time for silence. Please come pray for our new pastor, all priests and religious, and for an increase in vocations. Msgr. Smith will be hearing confessions at 8 PM.
Volunteers are needed daily from 9 AM-6 PM to help process donations in the Parish Center.

Donations are accepted in the two-car garage from 9 AM to 7 PM daily.

Click HERE for a list of items which are NOT accepted. All furniture and exercise equipment must be preapproved by Jess.

If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering, please contact Jess Mueller at 610-739-0463.
Prayer for Our Parish

Pray for Msgr. Wargo as he transitions into retirement and for our new pastor, as well. May the Lord send us a good and holy priest!

Dear God,
I believe that you have the ability to convert everyone at St. Joseph the Worker Church and I beg you to perform miracles in our lives that we will come to love you and never want to offend you.
I beg you to let us see our sins and run to the confessional, that the lines will be out the door.
Set the hearts of our priests on fire so that they burn with the desire for the conversion of every soul in the parish.
I implore you to make St. Joe's a beacon in our diocese, that souls will be drawn by the holiness they find here.
I ask that you blind Satan to every parishioner, that they might have the space to know and love you without temptation.
I offer myself to you completely at whatever the cost.
Amen
