Building a lasting relationship with your clients is important for a successful business. Forming true friendships beyond the business relationship will keep REALTORS® top of mind, creating trust and rapport with their clients. This also goes for their team members and promotes a culture of collaboration. Being accountable for your actions, such as keeping promises, demonstrates the reliability of a REALTOR®. Taking responsibility for any mistakes and finding solutions to problems shows how well the REALTOR® performs under pressure and represents reliability to clients. It is always great to lead by example.

Adhering to RECO's code of ethics is important to protect oneself and one's clients. When a REALTOR® conducts themselves professionally, it promotes confidence in their abilities and builds trust with clients and team members. Having a system in place is important as it helps the REALTOR® and their team members stay on track of the team's goals, and work efficiently when servicing clients, further promoting professionalism in their business. Keeping clear lines of communication is important as one will need to find out the pain points of the client. This is in parallel with the REALTORS® team members, as they can identify the pain points of the system or business and come together to solve these issues.
