My journey to Rimrock Trails Residential began in El Paso, Texas, where I developed a passion for helping others and a deep interest in understanding trauma and recovery. Witnessing the struggles of those around me drove me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling. Over the past 13 years, I’ve worked as a professional counselor in El Paso, serving in psychiatric hospitals, community clinics, shelters, and outpatient settings.
In 2022, I was offered the opportunity to join the Rimrock Trails Adolescent Residential Treatment Program as a counselor. I was drawn to the challenge of working with teens facing substance use and mental health challenges, knowing that early intervention could change the course of their lives. I quickly fell in love with the work, the organization, and the community in Oregon.
Now, as the Operations Director, I’ve relocated to Prineville with my family, excited and grateful to be part of this incredible team. The trauma-informed, individualized care provided at Rimrock Trails, delivered with empathy and authenticity, makes this organization truly special. I’m excited for the future and to be part of this impactful mission!
