Specialty Mental Health and Substance Use Provider

Established 1990
NEW AT RIMROCK TRAILS
September is Rimrock Trail's Birthday Month
For over 30 years Rimrock Trails has been dedicated to providing access to comprehensive evidence-based treatment services to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health concerns.

In that time we have served tens of thousands of local individuals and families in our Bend, Redmond, and Prineville counseling clinics and our Crook County-based adolescent residential treatment program. We could not have done it without the unwavering support from you, our community partners, advocates, and volunteers.

This September, we hope you will help us celebrate so that together, we can continue to create a foundation for healing, strengthen family connections, and offer hope for a brighter future for the Central Oregon Community.
Help Us Celebrate

Lynn Vigil, CADC II, QMHA

Residential Admissions Coordinator

With a heart for helping others, for 8 years Lynn Vigil has dedicated herself to helping the teens and families in the Crook County-based residential treatment program get the care they need in a timely manner.

Lynn earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing. She is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II and a Certified Life Coach. She brings over 23 years of experience working in residential treatment and found Rimrock Trails to be a natural fit where she could marry her passion to help others with her ability to connect with youth.

Lynn shares, “My vision for the residential treatment program is to continue serving youth and to build our program back to where we can be at full capacity. There are many youth in our state that need a safe place to be so that they can work on themselves and learn the skills that will help them grow in life. Rimrock Trails provides that safe place."

Lynn is very involved in the Prineville community and has been married for over 20 years to her amazing husband, Jeff. They have two incredible daughters, Dr. Alexandra Greenberg who is a Chiropractor in Prineville, and Emily Mitchem who is married with two beautiful daughters of her own, Brinley age 4, and Sage, age 20 months. Lynn's granddaughters are the joy and light of her life!

In her free time, Lynn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, working out, gardening, crocheting, and traveling wherever she can with her husband. Their dream is to travel the world once they retire! In addition, she and Jeff are loving fur parents to their beautiful and sweet black lab, Jack Black.

RESOURCES FOR YOU
Mental and substance use disorders affect communities nationwide, but with commitment and support people with these disorders can achieve healthy lifestyles and lead rewarding lives. September is nationally recognized as Recovery Awareness Month to spread the message that treatment is effective, and people can and do recover. The Recovery Month observance continues to work to improve the lives of those affected by mental and substance use disorders by raising awareness of these disorders and educating communities about the effective treatment, and recovery services available. Rimrock Trails along with the Crook County Health Department is celebrating Recovery Awareness Month all month long on the Crook County Health Department’s Facebook Page.
