With a desire to be part of the greater good, Billing and Coding Specialist, Vanessa Langley has been creating nothing but good at Rimrock Trails since joining our team in January 2020.
Having worked in the industry since 2007, Vanessa brings advanced knowledge in non-profit healthcare administration to the organization. Upon her employment, Vanessa’s experience and skills were immediately put to the test as she (under the direction of Business Manager Dawn Milligan) helped Rimrock Trails bring billing in-house. Accomplishing that in the face of a global pandemic, with few systems already in place, and a ravenous need for increased Outpatient billing, Vanessa has done an amazing job helping Rimrock Trails create a much healthier revenue cycle.
Oh, and did we mention she has accomplished all this while also being a full-time student about to graduate with her Health Information Management (HIM) Associates Degree? Vanessa is not resigned to rest on those laurels and is also pursuing several other certifications in the next year -- Registered Health Information Tech (RHIT), Certified Coding Associate (CCA), and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS). Talk about an (ever-humble) over-achiever!
When not supporting the Residential and Outpatient teams at Rimrock Trails, Vanessa, and her husband Danny enjoy spending time with their four children and two furbabies, Ruger and Kaya. Their oldest son recently married and blessed them with two grandpups, Emma and Stark, as well.
