RIMROCK TRAILS SET TO OFFER A FINDER'S FEE
Rimrock Trails is looking for experienced, Master’s level trauma and family Therapists to work with teens in our Prineville-based Residential treatment program. We have only two remaining Therapist positions to fill and our new Residential team will be complete!
Filling these two positions is critical to our reopening in early 2022. In lieu of hiring a recruiter to fill the two positions, Rimrock Trails would like to utilize our community partners to help us.
Therefore, we are offering a $4,000.00 Finder’s Fee to any individual who refers a qualified Therapist candidate that we hire for our Residential Team. The new hire will also receive a sign-on bonus of $4,000!
The ideal candidate would have the following additional experience:
Treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, working in a residential or inpatient setting, and/or child and adolescent therapy. Counselors who have their own lived experience with mental health and substance use treatment and recovery are valued.

Rimrock Trails Looking to Reopen the Crook County Adolescent Residential Treatment Program in Early 2022!
|
|
From the desk of Residential Program Manager, Justyn Staten:
As Rimrock Trail's Residential Treatment Program celebrates its 31st Birthday, our leadership and administrative team members have been strategizing with focus and unwavering faith in our mission to create a treatment workforce that will continue to hold the highest recovery standards. We are finding team members with a passion for the population we serve, and a desire to bring a positive impact to the lives of individuals living with substance use and mental health disorders.
In September, Rimrock Trails Residential Program took on the challenge of filling over 26 positions within four months. As a treatment program, it was not only important to find individuals who were passionate about the work, but also to find those who would be able and willing to take on the task of gaining the education and certification that our team requires.
Currently, our hiring team has remained on target for filling the positions within the organization. We have hired a Director of Residential Operations, a Behavioral Health Care Coordinator and nearly fulfilled our Treatment Aid positions. We are now shifting our focus to completing our residential counseling staff.’
We at Rimrock Trails Residential Program have so much gratitude for the support and love coming from the Central Oregon community as we have worked to enhance the foundation our program. That foundation is coming together and we are planning on reopening in early 2022!

Elena Vargas
Billing and Insurance Specialist
|
|
Just four months ago, Elena Vargas found an ad with a position that was the perfect fit for her heart and mind. We are so glad she did!
Elena brings extensive billing experience to our Business Department. She has completed over 600 hours of hands-on ICD-10 coding and HIPAA and HIM reimbursement processes and passed her Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). For most of her career, Elena has worked in a Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation Clinic. She chose a position with Rimrock Trails as she has a heart for the individuals we serve.
“I hope to grow alongside Rimrock Trails. In the few months that I have been here, I have seen the amazing things that Rimrock Trails has done for the community. I also know firsthand how they are working tirelessly to provide services to community members whose insurance does not cover the full cost of counseling or who have large deductibles. I want to keep doing whatever I can from a billing and insurance standpoint to make programs that will help more people gain access to our services.”
Next month, Elena and her husband will celebrate seven years of marriage. In that time, they have welcomed two daughters and a kitten. For fun, the family of four enjoys sightseeing, museums, aquariums and loves to be in nature. They especially enjoy waterfalls and lakes but, she admits that she prefers the view to the hiking!
Thank you, Elena, for your ongoing commitment to Rimrock Trails and the individuals and families we serve.

Not all caregivers are parents, but all parents are caregivers, and while parenting is greatly rewarding, it can also be challenging. As a result, Mental Health America (MHA) has gathered a wealth of resources to help parents and other caregivers work through the challenges of caregiving, start conversations, deal with crisis, and address their own mental health. They have also created new resources for single parents, the sandwich generation, and new fathers – who may feel left out of parental health conversations.
