You may feel a bit overwhelmed as you continue your artistic journey and venture into unchartered waters. But it really is a sign that you want to continue growing as an artist and discover new styles and techniques. In addition, you are starting to realize what "subjects" you like to paint most and which artists you admire. You have a thirst for learning as much as possible from those artists. You are starting to develop your own "artistic" style, and your paintings are becoming recognizable as belonging to you.
You are getting a sense of what inspires you as an artist, and seek out as many examples as you can find and try your hand at painting them. As you keep painting, your thirst for learning more becomes a passion. We, as artists, learn from those that came before us. We can learn much from them. You have a favorite, and you start to study their paintings. Your search for whom they learn from, who they "hang" around, and who they influence becomes paramount in your quest to discover more.
Your artwork is getting better. Your desire to paint in a similar style as your "mentor" artist is starting to pay off. You are creating a similar type but unique to you because you have put "yourself" onto the canvas. You are indeed developing your own style and evolving as an artist.
You can get there a lot faster with Personal Art Coaching, so this is something that you will want to keep in mind as you navigate your way through the jungle of art. We are also working on a new product that might be of interest to you in the future.
