You have a favorite, and you start to study their paintings. Your search for whom they learn from, who they "hang" around, and who they influence becomes paramount in your quest to discover more.

Your artwork is getting better. Your desire to paint in a similar style as your "mentor" artist is starting to pay off. You are creating a similar type but unique to you because you have put "yourself" onto the canvas. You are indeed developing your own style and evolving as an artist.
