A Bit of History of How we got Started

Framing-Gun image

When Jon and I started this art school online, he was in Michigan, and I was in Texas, and my computer skills were very weak, to say the least.

I will never forget what he said to me as we started, and I was unsure and confused about how to do stuff.

He said very calmly, "Don't worry, we can do anything." We have done just that. Every challenge has been met and sometimes exceeded.

If you have never watched the video I did on "How to Frame a painting - the dos and don'ts", now is the time. I did this video while I was in Houston and Jon lived in Michigan. I was sharing my 6-bedroom house with my ex-husband at the time, George.

Our videos were filmed back then with a $50 camera and $500 computer for which I borrowed the money. I sent the flash drives to Jon via mail and he would edit, then post to the Academy or YouTube.

When Jon saw my video on how to frame a painting, he said he kept shouting into the computer, "turn the gun over...they go in the front!" as I struggled to load a new framing gun with nails.

Here is the link to that video if you want a smile and a good laugh.

PAC Tips - How to attach your painting for review

To get the fastest response on your PACs, there is one major thing you can do to help Ginger.  Attach your painting to the PAC ticket by selecting Attach a file when submitting a ticket.

Attach-a-file-1 image

Then select your image from your Photos or wherever you may have saved it.

File-selection-1 image
Do-not-insert-1 image

DO NOT use the insert an image button or drag and drop your photo into the Description area. This makes it very difficult for Ginger to get your painting into her editing software and really slows her down.
