Each June, Canada celebrates National Indigenous History Month. All credit union employees need to be informed about the diverse and rich history, heritage, cultures, wisdom and contributions shared by First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

Intended for Indigenous and non-Indigenous learners, this multi-media course provides you and your organization foundational knowledge on the truths and implications of the historical and contemporary relationship between Indigenous Peoples and those who settled on their lands. This course is rated 5/5 stars by past learners. A certificate of completion is available through CCUA Campus.

Learn to Recognize
Financial Abuse of Older Adults

In the lead up to World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on June 15, learn how to recognize the signs and protect your older members from financial abuse. The financial mistreatment of a senior is the most common type of abuse and is a growing concern, making up 62.5% of all reported elder abuse cases.

Credit unions can and should play an important role in helping to prevent the financial abuse of older adults. Register for the 45-minute course Financial Abuse of Older Adults: Recognize, Review and Respond to learn how.
This course is pre-qualified for CE credits from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) for those who hold their PFP® designation.

This facilitated ON Board program works both independently and in collaboration with existing training and staff orientation as it addresses the gap in broader co-operative knowledge, regardless of sector and scale.
