AMSTERDAM'S CURRY MANSION NEWSLETTER!
WESLEY HOUSE
"SHARE THE LOVE" FUNDRAISER A SUCCESS!

Wesley House is one of our most valued partners on the island. Our longstanding relationship has improved the lives of young people and families in need throughout the Keys, and our valued guests have always been part of that effort.

While we didn't have the pleasure of hosting a Valentine's Day Gala this year, we were able to offer our lawn as a destination for hearts in the "Share The Love" fundraiser - 2,000 hearts were sold and the Keys are covered with love! Curry Mansion made a nice contribution - Steven & Ann Beck, who visit for the Gala every year, wrote a $500 check in support! If you've joined us in years past, have no fear: we'll be back next year to host the 40th anniversary of the Valentine's Day Gala, which was founded by Edith Amsterdam, on February 14, 2022!

Wesley House is keeping the love alive and hearts are still availble - if you'd like to purchase or make a donation, click the button below!
FROM PHIL'S DESK:
MARCH IN LIKE A LION!
"In like a lion, out like a lamb" We can think of several friends who are hoping that old weather folklore saying is true - February has been tough and then some. Hey, we know it's all relative, but even Key West has had plenty of "cold" snaps this winter. The cold weather up north has encouraged folks to come south - Key West is full of safe and socially distanced travelers enjoying a winter respite.

With light at the end of the tunnel, Key West is planning new activities - take a look below for the calendar of upcoming events - click on buttons throughout this email to look at room availability or book activities prior to your arrival. If you'd prefer to reach out directly, we're always ready to help here in at the front desk!

Lastly, March is a big month for us : St. Patrick's Day is always a big celebration in town, plus it's Nancy's birthday on March 9 and mine on the 18th - take a look at the Just for Fun Poll below and let us know how you think we should celebrate! Plenty to enjoy this spring break season, we all hope you'll join us!

Sending my best from Key West,

Here's a story to warm the coldest of winter nights! A few weeks back, we had a guest walk in, with two dogs, looking for a place to stay. As we're always ready to welcome new people to Curry Mansion (especially when they have cute dogs), we took care to make them comfortable and happy. Fast forward to the day we found a mysterious package in the mailbox - inside was the gratuity envelope left in each guest room and inside that was a one hundred dollar bill! It wasn't Publishers Clearning House, but it was a close second! Ernestina (pictured left) and Michelaine (pictured right) were pleased as punch! The ladies work hard to make sure rooms are just right and visitors feel at home - it's a joy when guests let them know how appreciated they are! We love our guests!
