Find Joy through Letter Writing
with Helen Fernald

One of the best things we can do for our brains and general health is to write a letter to a loved one. Join Helen Fernald, author of Love, Helen Letters to My Mother, to talk about the importance, both scientifically and emotionally, of writing letters by hand.
After a short discussion, Helen will pass out paper and pen and allow people time to begin a letter to anyone of their choice. Possibilities include, but are not limited to: grandchildren or children (to be opened after one’s passing or on a special occasion), to a dear friend, to a friend from the past with whom you have not communicated for a long time, even someone who has passed. The choice is completely up to the writer. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring a favorite pen or stationery.

The History of Wolfeboro
1759-1959

Join us for stories, songs and crafts. Each week will feature a different theme and some wonderful books. This program is best for ages 3-6. Younger children are welcome at their caregiver's discretion.
