Library Survey Coming Soon
In early July, the Library will launch a comprehensive community survey to guide its next three-year strategic plan. Sponsored by the non-profit Wolfeboro Public Library Foundation, this initiative seeks feedback from all Wolfeboro full-time households and seasonal residents. The input collected will help the library adapt its resources, technologies, and services to meet the town's evolving needs.
Every voice matters in this process, especially those who rarely utilize the facility. Understanding why people do not use the library is just as critical as hearing from regular patrons. To ensure full accessibility, the confidential survey will be available online with informational postcards mailed to local households. Physical copies and collection boxes will also be available at the library circulation desk, Town Hall and other partner locations.
The Foundation’s sponsorship of this survey ensures that future taxpayer and philanthropic funds are targeted precisely where our citizens need them most. Please take a few minutes this July to fill out the survey online or in print. For more information, visit the library or call 603-569-2428.

Unearth a Story
2026 Summer Reading Program
Now through August 6
This year’s Summer Reading Program, Unearth a Story, invites children and teens to dig into adventure, imagination, and discovery. The program brings history, adventure, exploration, (and dinosaurs!) to life through engaging books, creative activities, and exciting events.
The Library will offer reading challenges for children and teens, along with chances to enter drawings for wonderful prizes, including generously donated gift cards and tickets to area attractions.
Throughout the summer, participants can enjoy a wide variety of activities designed to entertain, educate, and inspire readers of all ages. The Summer Reading Program is made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the Wolfeboro Public Library.

Morphs and Milestones
Live Reptiles

Join us for a live animal presentation for all ages. Get up close and personal for some hands-on fun with some amazing reptiles. This program will consist of a presentation lasting 30-40 minutes followed by lots of time for the audience to meet, interact with, and handle several reptiles. Morphs and Milestones is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that uses rescued and rehabilitated reptiles in education and therapies for persons with special needs. Storyteller Simon Brooks

Simon Brooks has been entrancing audiences for many years. His tales, both live and on his award winning recordings, combine the intensity of solo performance with the intimacy of face-to-face conversations, delighting all. Simon Brooks began storytelling to groups and family audiences in 1991 in England, becoming a professional teller in 2003 in America. Born in England and making many trips in and out of Wales, Simon was raised on traditional tales. The love of his work is as inherent as his love of stories. After you have finished your journey into Simon’s stories, you will wonder how so many memorable characters and voices came out of one man. Registration is preferred, but not required.
