The History of Wolfeboro
1759-1959

The library catalog is a systematic and organized list of all the information resources available in a library. It is designed to help users efficiently identify, locate, and access materials. (It's what you use to look up your next great read!) On June 8, our Library is switching to a new way to search for materials called “Gallery.” It's more user-friendly, mobile-friendly, and accessible. Learn all about it on Monday, June 8 from 2:30 - 3:30pm. Come in for a demo on how to use all the new features. Bring your own device or use one of ours and sign up for your own "Gallery" account. We will repeat this class on June 15, same time.

Unearth a Story
2026 Summer Reading Program
Registration begins

This year’s Summer Reading Program, Unearth a Story, invites children and teens to dig into adventure, imagination, and discovery. The program brings history, adventure, exploration, (and dinosaurs!) to life through engaging books, creative activities, and exciting events.
The Library will offer reading challenges for children and teens, along with chances to enter drawings for wonderful prizes, including generously donated gift cards and tickets to area attractions.
Throughout the summer, participants can enjoy a wide variety of activities designed to entertain, educate, and inspire readers of all ages.

The drawing will be held on Friday at the Book & Author Luncheon. No need to be present. Winners will be notified.
Friends Annual Meeting

All are invited to this meeting where you can meet members of the Friends' Board and hear what they have accomplished over the past year. Library Director Alison Rutley will speak about the Library's town-wide survey slated for July and how the results will help guide Library Staff and Trustees as they plan for the Library's future.
