Join us for a book discussion, activities, and treats each month. We'll cover one book each month on the first Monday, except for May. (Please see the full listing on our website.)
We have several copies of each book to loan and all books are also available through the Libby and Hoopla apps. While we love the Harry Potter movies, this club will focus on the books so participants should read each book before each meeting. This club is best for older kids and teens. The Year in Books

Book lovers are invited to a lively Reader’s Roundtable, a morning dedicated to sharing and discussing what people read this past year. The event will feature a conversation led by Librarian Joyce Davis and Jeanne Snowdon, owner of The Country Bookseller. They'll guide the discussion through this year’s most talked-about titles and reading trends. While the focus will be on on what's new, there's certainly room to discuss other favorites from previous years.
Participants are encouraged to share their favorite (and least favorite) reads, whether fiction or nonfiction, literary or lighthearted. The Roundtable will touch on the genres that captured readers’ imaginations—from buzzy debut novels to powerful memoirs and surprising bestsellers—and explore what makes a book truly memorable. All readers are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
