United Nations Correspondent Association's Gala in New York City. UN Secretary General Guterres, the Clooney family, ambassadors and UNCA members were in attendance. The ceremony honors journalists and news outlets for coverage of the United Nations and UN agencies.
Amal Clooney received the 2018 UNCA Global Citizen of the Year award. In addition, one of THO's main sponsors, Turkish Airlines, gave two travel packages to the raffle winners. Turkish Airlines General Manager Cenk Ocal presented the prizes on the stage.
