Join us as THO hosts former NATO Supreme Allied Commander General Wesley Clark and President of Altinbas University Prof. Cagri Erhan who is an awardee of Jean Monnet Chair by the European Union, on May 29, 2019 at the National Press Club to discuss the U. S., Turkey, and NATO. Geoffrey Gresh, Chair of the International Security Studies Department at the National Defense University will be the moderator of the panel.

Congressional outreach continued as THO President Ali Cinar met with Senator Shaheen and and Communications Manager Savannah Lane met with Representative Smucker.
THO President Ali Cinar attended the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Intrepid Museum.

The committee’s draft 2020 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) —  advanced Wednesday  and unveiled on Thursday — would prohibit the sale of the Lockheed Martin-made F-35 Lightning II to Ankara should it buy Russia’s S-400 surface-to-air missile defense system.
