-Work is demanding, requiring long hours and extra effort, and your team is having problems working together.
-Your spouse has their own challenging situation at work, and you haven’t been away alone together for three years to relax and have enjoy each other’s presence.
- Each of your children has regular schoolwork, plus their extracurricular activities of sports and arts.
-Plus, with a high schooler, middle schooler, and preschooler their parental needs are all over the spectrum, and the older ones are struggling.
-You are also researching and planning the finances for college. ---There is also a new driver anxious to get behind the wheel who knows everything.
-It’s time to service the cars.
-Your home needs deep cleaning.
-There are also doctors’ and dentist’s appointments, and you need to figure out the reason for the pain in your back; and you aren’t resting well underneath all of this pressure.
-Oh, and what about the gym membership you have been paying for a year and have only been once…and weight loss and good health are still high on your priority list.
-Healthy meal planning and cooking is also an issue for a growing family.
-Plus, your parents aren’t doing well and need your support.
You get the point…following is The Law of Cadence:
The Law of Cadence
The Law of Cadence addresses the reality that all the activities swirling around in your head and your life must be addressed, organized, and managed in a flow that allows you to get everything done well, with additional time to take care of yourself. Furthermore… “You have enough time to accomplish everything that you are supposed to in your Life”. Let that sink in!
· First, you must operate in The Law of Cadence in your inner life before you can accomplish it in your outer life. One must work on having your heart, mind, emotions, and body in sync first, or things can easily fall apart. Quiet time infused with meditation, prayer, thinking, and planning are a major key to appropriating this law.
· Second you need to list your responsibilities on a priority list such as: Important – Critical – Urgent – not important, etc. Also, what can be delegated on your list? Will a lawn care or maid service supply you with needed relief? Do the things that are important first (without delay), then move down the list.
· Third, one must do the planning work in the arena of finances, as financial disorder is one of the main culprits in a life lost in activities that are like riding the rapids on a sinking raft. It is essential to continuously expand your income, create multiple streams of income, while functioning in your competency and passion in the process! This is a requirement as we navigate into the future of the new world.
Transforming our thinking along with establishing in concrete new and wholesome habits are two of the major keys to success. I invite you to share your thoughts and questions with me on my blog page at www.rogerckellygroup.com/blog.
Have a Great Week!!!
