The Laws of Life: The Law of Compassion
When our hearts are illuminated and filled with life, they are synonymously overflowing with compassion. If we are truly excelling in authentic wisdom, compassion is wisdom’s right-hand companion…no exceptions. If we are calloused and indifferent, don’t care about the well-being of our fellow man, it is a sure sign that are hearts are darkened, and this ensures that our own fulfilment and happiness are impossible. It’s not drone warfare and nuclear bombs that will destroy America and the nations of the world; it’s the pervasion of individuals at the grassroot level with darkened hearts who only care about themselves. Welcome to the Law of Compassion:
The Law of Compassion
Compassion is the cultivation and expression of the seeds within us that are concerned and engaged with the well-being of others. This is what makes the tales of The Grinch and Ebeneezer Scrooge so valued and successful. We can be compassionate because we all have seeds of compassion within us. We are better human beings when compassion is actively flowing through our lives!
· Compassion is a sign of well-being, including a healthy heart and mind. Resourcefulness which leads to resources is often an insignia of the compassionate. Paying attention to others around us will cure us of the fear, obsession, and paranoia concerning what will happen in our own lives. Doing something for someone else without strings attached releases our compassion via choice.
· Compassion, like fire, is combustible and spreads to others all around. A compassionate smile elicits a response and spreads to others. Random acts of kindness tend to spread…hence the term “paying it forward”. The activation of compassion brings out the best in all of us, and this is desperately needed today!
· The rise of compassion is our hope amid the colossal problems we are facing in the struggle for survival of the human race. We often feel that what we do individually doesn’t matter but remember a grass roots transformation often begins with one person. If things are going to improve…it will be at the grass roots level. The great news is this is where you and I live!!!
