The Laws of Life: The Law of Influence
This law is the one that is pervading The United States and modern world in a stealth yet diabolical way! The war being raged right now is for the control of our thoughts, minds, and lives. It is reflected in politics, media, social media, business, music, religion, and every other means by those who have the greatest impact through their power (real or perceived). The battle of your life is to retain the influence over your own mind…thus your life. The problem is not with the law itself but the impact of the ignorance of it! Here it is:
The Law of Influence
The Law of Influence is the ability to impact thinking, direct conversation, incite behavior…thus influencing outcomes in oneself and others. Because no one escapes influence, study of this law helps us to see what’s happening and transform our lives with intention. Without which we are definitively heading through life like a blind man speeding down a California Freeway at rush hour!
· First, one must determine his/her own True North. I wish we were taught this in our homes at an early age. Your True North is the determination of your ethics, values, purpose, and direction as channeled through your intention. If you don’t figure this out, someone else will do it for you for their benefit. Hint: You were created with this wiring already within you…it’s not a matter of acquisition but rather discovery.
· Second, when you find your own True North, you will help others to find theirs, which is the most noble use of the law. Somehow people can tell when you are marching to a different beat, and they will respect that and begin to look to you subject to the accumulation of positive and noble results in your life. It is the honor of being human to help bring out the best in others…making the world a better place.
· Third, the mission of mankind is to use our wisdom, resources, gifts, and talents to improve ourselves, others, and the world in which we live. The tools are relationships, business, community, commerce, communication, information, the arts, and more. If we all followed this rule, we would simultaneously improve our lives, lifestyle, and transform the world into a better place…period.
